Greetings all—
It’s that wonderful time of the summer again! It’s time for the Burke Area Farmers Market 2017 season. We will kick off the year with our first Market on Thursday July 6th from 4:30-6:00 PM on Main Street in Burke.
We will have many old and new friendly vendor faces at the Market this year, and I will be introducing you to all of them through regular blog posts leading up to kick off on July 6th. At the first Market, you can expect lots of fun for kids and adults alike including balloon animals, flower corsages, and the official opening of our Farmers Market Children’s Garden. So be sure to bring the whole family down.
You can count on lots of fun and learning at the Market in 2017. We will periodically bring you presentations on food and farming topics, live music, cooking demonstrations, and special markets like our petting zoo in August and Harvest Festival in October.
We will continue using our Farm Fan app to send you a weekly reminder about the Market, so ask us about signing up, or head over to our Facebook page (“Burke Area Farmers Market”) and follow the posted link.
