Meet our team

Katelyn Brady

Katelyn was born and raised in Burke, SD. She and her husband, Alec, love to cook for their family and are thankful they can walk to the market to get fresh, local ingredients. Katelyn has been on the BAFM board since our founding in 2012.

Gramma Goat's Soapworks

I never meant to be a soapmaker! But when my dairy goats started making more milk than our family needed, I gave it a try, hoping the soaps would be good, and could be given as teacher’s gifts that year at the girls’ school.

Growing up in Switzerland she was used to locally grown fruits and vegetables and is happy to have this available at the market in Burke. She loves how locally grown produce just tastes so much better, after being harvested in its prime state, as it does not have to be shipped across the country.
