It’s that wonderful time of the summer again – the Burke Area Farmers Market 2019 season! We will kick off the year with our first Market this Thursday July 11th from 5:30-7:00 PM at the Burke City Park. This week, the Prairie Fire Band will provide live music, and Kate Witt will be doing Art with Kate, a free art activity for kids of all ages!

You might have noticed we’ve been seeking a lot of community feedback, and based on the responses, we believe the new after-work hours and the City Park location with bathrooms, shade, seating, and play for kids might be just what you’re looking for in a better market experience. Please help us by spreading the word to others about the new time and place.

We will have many old and new friendly vendor faces at the Market this year, and you can read all about them on the vendor page of our website at www.burkeareafarmersmarket.com/vendors. You can expect lots of fun for kids and adults alike at many of our Markets this year, so keep your eyes out for our schedule of events for the whole family.
