Last week was the third event in our Children's Garden Activity Series, and we were happy to welcome Gregory County 4-H and Laura Kahler to the market for Monsters Don't Eat Broccoli.

Laura and the children read the Monsters book at the Children's Garden, then made this delicious Broccoli Apple Salad. The sun was shining, and the kids and adults alike had a great time.

This week, Laura will be back to do "I Will Never, Not Ever, Eat a Tomato." And making this super simple salsa recipe.
